Talk about raving fans! It is true what they say: The more reviews you get, the more new patients you will have! And the higher your reviews are, the higher your rankings!
You probably know all the reasons WHY having a lot of positive online reviews is a good thing. But often things are easier said than done, and encouraging patients to leave those reviews is quite likely an afterthought in your team’s eyes. There are a few things you can start doing today to increase the number of positive reviews.
A poster with a QR code by your checkout counter you can point to, or better- a card that you can hand to your patient at the end of their visit. Canva is great at generating QR codes in seconds. Use it!
You would be surprised how few practices do that! You can use your mailing platform to send automatic emails to your patients two or three days after their last visit.
Put your request right in front of your patients. The more personalized the message, the better. Here is an example:
“Hi <patient’s name>! I truly hope you had a great experience at <Your Practice>. I would be very grateful if you could leave me a review using this link: <link>. I appreciate you! <your name>”
Try those 3 ways to get online reviews and watch the magic happen! Above all this, train your staff to understand the importance of reviews and how to ask for them politely.
